Ready to hang!!
Many of my customers and fans over the years have expressed interest in the corsages, but felt they lacked the courage to wear them. So, they buy them for the wall, the desk, the home. I started this ready to hang series to address those desires. I like it because I have the freedome to make larger pieces with no thought of how it will interact with the body. The are all mounted on wood/canvas frames and are extra sturdy. I hope you love them as much as me!

My first ready to hang!!! I am loving the freedom of this series as I can make bigger and bolder pieces knowing they won't need to be worn, and scaled down for the lapel. This chicken, affectionaltely named 'Beyonce' for the famous 6 foot metal chicken of the Blogess measures 6" x 6" and is made of fully annealed glass, feathers, wood and canvas. I owe a lot to parrotts. I don't own any but I have a special team of them in Tennesee that I totally depend upon for those wonder feathers I use in my work. The are owned and loved by my friend Kevin and his friend. They are generous with the naturally beautiful colors and no bird is harmed in the process.
